Barium carbonate is an inorganic compound with the molecular formula BaCO3. Industrial  is a white powder in the greenhouse, hygroscopic, almost insoluble in water, insoluble in alcohol, soluble in acid and ammonium chloride solution, and highly toxic.

Uses: The uses of barium carbonate in ceramics mainly include the following aspects:

Improving appearance and quality: Adding barium carbonate to ceramics can reduce pores and bubbles, improve translucency, improve appearance and improve product quality.

Improving hardness and wear resistance: Adding powder barium carbonate to the production of structural ceramics can improve the hardness, wear resistance and chemical corrosion of ceramics.

Expanding the sintering range: Adding barium carbonate to ceramic production can expand the sintering range and increase the thermal expansion coefficient.
