Sodium metasilicate’s excellent dispersion performance, pH buffering ability, and water softening ability make the ceramic slurry show good fluidity under the stable state of PH=10.5. However, adding too much sodium metasilicate will have a negative effect. The ceramic slurry is caused to solidify rapidly until it completely loses its fluidity.
