Sodium Hexametaphosphate, also known as Graham’s salt, is an inorganic substance. It’s a white crystalline powder, easily soluble in water, and insoluble in organic solvents. In 1832, Graham found the Sodium Hexametaphosphate. He heated the salt obtained by heating and dehydrating sodium dihydrogen phosphate at its melting point (625°C) and cooled the melt rapidly to obtain hygroscopic Graham’s salt.
