Compared with Zinc Selenide (ZnSe), Zinc Sulfide Powder has many advantages—for example, LOWER Cost, HIGH Hardness, and TWICE Fracture strength of ZnSe. In Addition, ZnS has a solid ability to resist harsh environments, so it is suitable for producing fluorescent products, etc.

Since Zinc Sulfide Powder has good sintering properties, it is applied to ceramics. Studies prove that the sintering performance of ZnS powder with monodisperse particles is higher than that of agglomerated ZnS. What’s more, smaller size contributes to better sintering performance.
