Industrial Grade Aluminum Hydroxide, chemical formula Al(OH)3, white solid, insoluble in water, soluble in acid or alkali, is a typical amphoteric hydroxide. After heating and dehydration in air, it can be transform into aluminum oxide, which is of great significance to the production of aluminum oxide. Aluminum hydroxide can react with both acid to generate salt and water and with strong alkali to generate salt and water, so it is an amphoteric hydroxide

Aluminum hydroxide (Al(OH)₃) has a wide range of applications in industry, and its role covers many fields, including flame retardants, refractory materials, abrasives, and ceramic applications.

The following are some of the main roles of Industrial Grade Aluminum Hydroxide in industry:

Catalyst: Aluminum hydroxide can be use as a catalyst in certain chemical reactions to promote the reaction.
